2011 Fall Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200

It was a cool, cloudy day to start out, but as it got closer to midday, we all began stripping off the layers.

We had some sponsor decals to apply.

And there were decals to remove...in tiny little pieces... took us quite a while to get that one off.
The stands are a bit empty early in the day.

The smile is from "hassling" the Basham corner table next to DBR pits.
Found Mr. Kimmel has a great sense of humor, and very tolerant of me and my camera.

Darrell spinning the lady has been happening since time...only I had not witnessed the driver intros at Salem so had no idea what cuz was up to all this time. When I learned of the spinning, I ran up to catch him red-handed...got him!
The first car to take to the track for qualification or was it practice...
whichever, he took a bit of a spin.

This shot is one of my lapses in focus. I watched this little grasshopper crawl up to the pocket and up the edge. Never did see where he ended up because something else distracted me.

The awesome pony pace car.

In the Beginning

I hope you enjoy this blog as I dip my toes into the world of fine art photography. I will also be sharing some ARCA shots, nature photos and a few wedding photos.

I would like to introduce you to my husband, Ernie, and myself. This was taken by our daughter-in-law, Rachel Pickett.

This is an example of some of the art I will be posting. I hope to have a live website soon for those interested in purchases my art.

I believe God blessed me with a desire to learn photography and digital manipulation to share God's Word. As this shot of a barn behind a field of beans in North Carolina shows God's beauty along with the beauty of the weather-ravaged barn, it also shares His Word.

For those who have taken the time to visit me here, thank you and may God bless you until next time.
